Kieran J. Shanahan is a former federal prosecutor and an experienced litigator with extensive trial court experience in federal and state courts around the country. He is also a Certified Mediator with substantial Alternative Dispute Resolution experience. Kieran also has substantial non-litigation experience, including providing general business, corporate and banking advice to small and medium size companies. In 1989, he received the Directors Award from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and was recognized as one of the most outstanding federal prosecutors in the country. Brandon Neuman’s practice focuses on advising businesses and individuals on complex issues, ranging from strategic and risk management advice, regulatory and internal investigations, through bet-the-company litigation. He counsels clients on all aspects of business operations, regulatory compliance and complex commercial litigation. Brandon regularly serves as outside General Counsel for client institutions and businesses, where he manages a wide variety of legal matters such as internal investigations, audits, regulatory examinations, and other industry-specific matters. He also has extensive litigation experience representing clients in state and federal courts, including the North Carolina Business Court, and arbitrations, throughout the country. He has successfully handled complex commercial litigation, class actions, contract disputes, employment matters and other various technological issues facing businesses and individuals. Brandon’s clients include financial institutions, broker-dealers, investment advisors, and other industry members in matters under the jurisdiction of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). John Branch concentrates his practice in business, employment, and constitutional law. He counsels and advocates for clients in all aspects of employment law, including preparation of employment, separation, and non-compete agreements on behalf of both businesses and executives, preparation of internal corporate employment documents, and representation in disputes involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, the North Carolina Wage and Hour Act and other federal, state, and local employment statutes and regulations.
