RALEIGH, N.C. – Kieran J. Shanahan, principal in Raleigh-based Shanahan Law Group, PLLC, was recently sworn in as a member of the Centennial Authority’s Board of Directors. Shanahan was appointed by Representative Thom Tillis, Speaker of the N.C. House of Representatives. The Centennial Authority oversees operations of the RBC Center in Raleigh, home of the Carolina Hurricanes NHL hockey team and the NC State University’s Wolfpack men’s basketball team.
“I had the privilege of serving on the Raleigh City Council when the funding decisions were made for the arena we now call the RBC Center,” says Shanahan. “I believe the facility is one of North Carolina’s treasures and that it has had a positive impact on our community and eastern North Carolina for over a decade.
