James R. White Joins Shanahan Law Group Team
RALEIGH, N.C. — Shanahan Law Group is pleased to welcome James R. White to the firm. White concentrates his practice in the areas of Commercial Real Estate, Buyer and Seller Representation in Real Estate Transactions, Borrower and Lender Representation in Commercial Loans, Banking, Financial Services Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Creditors rights.
White completed his undergraduate studies at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in History. He received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2000.
Prior to joining Shanahan Law Group, White worked for The Law Office of John T. Benjamin, Jr., P.A., in Raleigh, where he represented financial services clients in wide range of consumer and commercial lending matters, as well as commercial and residential loan workouts, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate disputes. He has also served as an attorney with Nodell, Glass, & Haskell, L.L.P and Spectrasite Communications Inc. and worked as a Title Counsel and State Agency Manager for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company.
White is a member of The North Carolina State Bar, 10th Judicial District Bar Member, The North Carolina Bar Association (Real Property Section), and the Wake County Bar Association Member. He is also an active member of the White Memorial Presbyterian Church.
