Shanahan Law Group sponsored 4th Annual Matty-Brenner Memorial Golf Tournament
Shanahan Law Group, PLLC sponsored the 4th Annual Matty-Brenner Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation. The tournament took place on Oct.18 at The Revival in the Crescent Golf Club in Salisbury, North Carolina. The tournament is dedicated to the memory of probation officers Jim Matty and Richard “Rick” Brenner, who were employees of the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
“Correctional officers play a critically important and often under-recognized role in our justice system,” said former federal prosecutor Kieran J. Shanahan, founder of Shanahan Law Group. “Our firm is proud to sponsor this event to support the families of correctional officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.”
