Shanahan Law Group, PLLC associate Jeffrey M. Kelly has been appointed to the North Carolina Bar Association Appellate Practice Section Council for a three-year term beginning September 13, 2019. “Jeff Kelly is a rising star in the legal profession and a core member of our appellate practice team,” said former federal prosecutor Kieran J. Shanahan, founder of Shanahan Law Group. “We are grateful that he has the opportunity to advance the legal practice by serving in this capacity, and he will bring tremendous value to the Appellate Practice Section Council.”
Kelly’s legal practice is concentrated in areas of complex litigation and outside corporate counsel services, including corporate and securities litigation, trade secret and intellectual property protection, data security, and unfair trade practices. Kelly is also integral to the firm’s appellate practice, including successfully arguing significant corporate issues arising out of the North Carolina Business Court and consulting on a wide range of appeals in state and federal courts.
