Sanderson Farms Nixes Nash Poultry Plant

Sanderson Farms officials announced Tuesday their decision to abandon plans to open a large-scale chicken processing plant in Nash County.

“That’s good news,” said Wilson Mayor Bruce Rose, just minutes after learning about the decision. “That’s good news.”
