Kieran J. Shanahan is an experienced, proven Senior Counsel with the insight to develop legal strategy or provide a second opinion to ensure the advice you’ve received is on point. Kieran is a former federal prosecutor with four decades of experience successfully handling complex, high-stakes legal cases. Additionally, he is an experienced litigator with extensive trial court experience in federal and state courts throughout the country. Kieran is a Certified Mediator with substantial Alternative Dispute Resolution experience. He has earned a reputation as a tenacious litigator who is willing and able to successfully tackle complex, high-stakes cases. He has substantial non-litigation experience, including providing general business, corporate and banking advice to small and medium size companies.
Kieran's practice includes banking matters, business disputes, employment and construction matters, as well as class action, administrative, and federal white-collar defense matters. He also handles corporate compliance, professional licensing, and internal investigations for professionals and corporations under regulatory scrutiny. In 1989, he received the Directors Award from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and was recognized as one of the most outstanding federal prosecutors in the country. Christina joined SLG as a Medico-Legal Consultant. She served 30 years in the US Navy and retired at the rank of Rear Admiral Upper Half. She served in various senior leadership positions in Navy Medicine including Deputy Chief, US Navy, Bureau of Medical and Surgery. Christina is a graduate of Columbia University School of Nursing and holds a Masters in Public Health Administration from the UNC Chapel Hill Gillings School of Public Health. She participates on the SLG trial team with research and analysis.
